China Remote Controlled Pigeons

A pigeon with a micro electrode implanted in its head rests in a lab of the Robot Engineering Technology Research Center of east China's Shandong University of Science and Technology in Qingdao, China on Monday, March 12, 2007. Scientists with the research center succeeded in remotely controlling the pigeons' flight by sending signals via computer after they implanted micro electrodes in the pigeons' brains.
